Losing weight the healthy way is best

WEST CALDWELL TWP.-
“Rosalee, do you realize you’ve lost 70 pounds?”
West Caldwell resident Rosalee Tortoriello happily recalls the day when endocrinology and metabolic specialist Dr. Donald Angeletti asked her that question.
A patient of Angeletti’s for the past six years, Tortoriello has steadily lost weight and gained confidence, becoming a whole lot healthier along the way
“My motivation… I’ve been getting so many compliments. It makes me feel good and I like the way I look,” Tortoriello said.
After years of trying fad diets – only to “lose a significant amount of weight and gain it back and then some” – Tortoriello knew she had to make a change. Guided by Angeletti, Tortoriello also has seen other benefits of her healthy lifestyle, as monitored by Angeletti.
“For years, I was on cholesterol medication,” she said. “Now, because of my exercise and weight loss, my cholesterol has dropped and I’m not on any medication at all. It’s wonderful”
Just 10 pounds away from her goal weight, Tortoriello knows how essential it was for her to find the right doctor.
“Dr. Angeletti is just great,” she said. “When I was younger, I went to another doctor who was strictly about diet pills. Nothing about nutrition and exercise. Dr. Angeletti taught me the healthy way.”
Angeletti of West Caldwell has helped more than 4,000 patients lose weight safely over the last 30 years. He has recently expanded his weight-loss program to include several new, inexpensive options. The programs can cost as little as $15 per week and there is an optional use of tasty, low-calorie meal replacements.
A rapid weight loss program is also offered in which patients can lose up to 25 pounds in one month. Weight loss, varies with each individual, according to a number of medical, hormonal and metabolic factors.
