Looking for a simple diet plan that fits into your busy schedule? Easy to use and convenient for time-pressed dieters, meal replacements may be the answer you’re looking for.
Meal replacements helped Maribel Rosado lose 45 pounds in eight months. Meal replacements simplify meal planning because they are convenient, easy to store and require little preparation. Meal replacements also are reasonably priced, usually costing less than the meals they replace – as little as $2.50/meal.
Rosado is a patient of Dr. Donald Angeletti in West Caldwell, a specialist in endocrinology and metabolism. His weight-loss program includes several diet food meal replacement plans. These meal replacements include low-calorie puddings, shakes, entrees, bars and snacks.
“The food tastes great, and its so simple,” Rosado said of Angeletti’s program. “I work and go to school so I have a very full schedule. Meal replacements are easy because you can ‘grab and go.’ I take them with me in the morning and literally can eat them anywhere.” Rosado drinks three shakes and eats two bars a day, supplemented with salads, fresh fruit and yogurt.
“I don’t feel hungry or sluggish, and I am never tempted to reach for an unhealthy snack because my daily routine is planned. That general anxiety I always used to have about food and eating is gone,” she said.
She cites the understanding and encouragement from Angeletti and his staff as key factors in her weight-loss success.
“The staff is so nice and Dr. Angeletti is very motivating and supportive,” Rosado said.
